Crystals 101: An Introduction to Crystals from The Curious Crystal

Hi everyone, my name is Tinajayne and I'm so excited to be starting this blog to share my love of crystals with all of you. A little bit about me - I live in beautiful Oregon with my husband and our three energetic dogs who keep us on our toes! and I am a major Swiftie, IYGIYGI (if you get it you get it) 

I started The Curious Crystal because I wanted to provide high quality, consciously sourced crystals for people who appreciate them as much for their beauty as their metaphysical properties. Crystals have been used for spiritual and healing purposes throughout history, but if that's not your jam, it's fine because they are also gorgeous natural works of art!

In my shop and through this blog, I hope to share crystal knowledge in a fun and engaging way. We will talk about how crystals form over millions of years in a fascinating natural process beneath the earth's surface. Each type of crystal has its own unique crystalline structure and metaphysical properties. For example, rose quartz is known as the crystal of unconditional love and harmony. It has a soft pink hue and soothing energy that opens the heart chakra. On the other hand, citrine is a bright, sunny yellow crystal that resonates with the solar plexus chakra and carries energizing and optimistic vibrations.
